L-VIP SUP Supervision
L-VIP Supervision is a core element in the ongoing professionalisation and quality assurance in applied sports psychology. Supervision processes are characterised by the establishment of a perspective that combines individual aspects of a topic into an overall picture.
When seeing sports psychology experts, athletes are not required to lie on a couch or tell their entire life story. In fact, such sessions involve targeted mental training and work on psychological skills (e.g. concentration). There are established methods for this, such as mental training, which improves the ability to develop realistic mental images. Sports psychology is in many ways nothing more than mental strength training.
And the following applies to both the biceps and the head: neither grows by itself; it takes regular practice and systematic training.
That is why sports psychology experts support athletes, among other things, with targeted and planned training of the psyche in training and competition.
